The city is divided into 6 zones starting with the Cenarion Enclave to the north, Craftsmen’s Terrace to the north east, Warrior’s Terrace with battle ground masters to the East, Tradesmen’s Terrace with the Auction House to the south east and the Temple of the Moon to the south. The Temple Gardens hosting the local bank is located on the center island.
The temple of the moon is the home of the Priesthood of Elune and the priests are one of the two factions that run Darnassus. Lately some diplomats from the Highborne have arrived at the temple, it seems that the Highborne have grown tired of hiding. It is here that you arrive when using a portal in Dalaran or Shattrath City to get to Darnassus.
The bank tree on the center island in Darnassus is a sight on its own. It is a tree that will always remind the residents that druids live in the city and are a big part of the Night Elven history.
The Auction House is located on the Tradesmen’s Terrace. As always it doesn’t really matter what Auction House you use to manage your auctions as all the Auction Houses are linked together.
The Warrior’s Terrace of Darnassus is the home of the various Battleground masters and Ancients of War. Also some traders that sell pets and the weapons master resides here.
The Cenarion Enclave of Darnassus is where the second ruling faction lives, the druids of the Cenarion Circle plot their plans. Druid, Hunter and Rogue trainers can be found here. Also mount vendor and riding trainers.
The portal on the western island leads to Rut’Theran Village and is the main transportation to the rest of the Kalimdor continent.
